지엠대우와 함께하는 장애인 문학인재 발굴 프로젝트

장애인   장애인가족, 우정부분, 총29명에게 상장 및 상금 지급

인천광역시중구장애인종합복지관(관장 정용충)이 지난 23일 복지관 강당에서 ‘제2회 인천광역시장애인문학공모전’ 입상작 시상식을 가졌다.

29명이 수상한 이번대회는 장애 및 장애가족 부문에서 각각 대상?금상?은상?동상?가작부문에서 입상자가 가려졌다.

이번 공모전은 인천광역시중구장애인종합복지관이 주최하고, 지엠대우 한마음 재단의 후원으로 진행됐으며, 지난 3월 29일부터 4월 16일까지 인천, 경기, 서울지역에 거주하는 장애인 및 장애가족, 장애친구 등이 참여하여 총90편의 작품이 응모됐다.

행사 관계자는 “이번 행사는 장애로 인한 어려움을 극복하고, 문학적 잠재능력을 찾아 장애인의 사회참여를 유도하기 위해 진행됐다”며 “이번 공모전의 입상작 시상은 ‘제30회 장애인의 날 기념 행사’와 함께 진행돼 그 의미가 더해졌다”고 전했다.

심사위원으로 참석한 색동회 장영애 회장(신월초등학교 교장)과 고양시 문인협회 김원경 아동문학작가는 제1회 인천광역시장애인문학공모전 심사위원으로 참여한 바 있다.

이번 공모전은 장애인과 그 가족 뿐만 아니라 같은 학급의 친구가 바라본 ‘장애인’에 대한 소재의 글도 함께 응모되면서 ‘장애’에 대한 인식을 개선할 수 있는 장을 마련하고, ‘문학’이라는 연결고리를 통해 장애인과 같은 눈높이로, 같은 속도의 발걸음으로 함께 걸어갈 수 있는 밑걸음이 되었을 것이라 기대한다.
